Wolseley - Wolseley 15/60
The Wolseley 15/60 was introduced in 1958 and available from 1959, using the same 4 cylinder BMC B Series engine as it's predecessor 15/50 but now with higher compression and 55 bhp. The first time the Pininfarina body style was used at BMC was on this Wolseley 15/60, before it got rolled out to the other BMC brands (Austin, Riley, MG and Morris), but the Wolseley 15/60 was the top of the range offering from BMC as far as leather interior and other finishes were concerned, and also the most powerfully tuned version.
The Wolseley 15/60 was in production until 1961.
Wolseley 15/60 tyre size was originally 5.90x14 which is equivalent radial size 165R14. Blockley produces an excellent steel belt construction 165HR14 with good speed rating and period correct looks.
