Wolseley - Wolseley 16/60
The Wolseley 16/60 was produced from 1961 when the BMC B series engine was given a larger bore increasing the capacity to 1622 cc and also resulting in a small increase in power. But the Wolseley still had the one carburettor manifold and therefore the least power output in the BMC range, so with the Wolseley 16/60 it was more about other things than performance. The 16/60 also had as an option an automatic gearbox. The Wolseley 16/60 had a particularly long production life, remaining in production until 1971.
