Wolseley - Wolseley 6/80
The Wolseley 6/80 was built from 1948 and had many features in common as the rebadged Wolsey version of the Morris Six, but fitted with twin carburettors. The 6/80 had a capacity of 2215 cc with a 6 cylinder over head camshaft engine which was the stretched version of the 4 cylinder Wolseley 4/50 model that was built alongside. The Wolseley 6/80 was also used by many police forces, perhaps as many as 1,000 units being purchased, and were in use until as late as 1961with the Force. Wolseley 6/80 production continued until 1954.
