Wolseley - Wolseley 6/99
The Wolseley 6/99, produced from 1959, followed on from the earlier 6/90. It looked very different with a large Farina designed body and the 6 cylinder BMC engine now bored out to give 2912cc, which produced almost 20% more power. This larger 3 litre BMC C series engine was also used in the 3 litre Austin Healey. The interior of the Wolseley 6/99 was better appointed to distinguish it from the Austin A99 variant. Production of the Wolseley 6/99 carried on to 1961.
Wolseley 6/99 tyre size was originally 7.00x14. This is a radial tyre size equivalent 185HR14, and Blockley produces a superb quality steel belt construction 185HR14, which will transform the look and handling. Blockley also produces this same size 185HR14 size in a whitewall tyre option.
