475 x 19
475/500x19
A 4.75x19 tyre (marked 4.75/5.00 x 19) with a period correct authentic triple stud tread pattern, built to the highest quality with a good speed rate also. Nothing you can buy is as good as this, and in any case we are unaware of any other genuine 475x19 tyres being available anywhere. The 4.75x19 tyre was the original fitment size for the Model A Ford.

Similar looking to our 500 x 19 Blockley tyre, this 4.75x19 has a smaller diameter. We have dual marked this tyre 475/500 x 19, something we don't like doing because dual marking is purely marketing 'bull', because you cannot have two tyre sizes as one tyre! However, our competitors with other brands like doing this, so in this instance we have had to follow suit. But note that the Blockley 475x19 (which is marked 4.75/5.00x19) is a 475x19 tyre, whereas all other brands of tyre that are marked "475/500x19" are in fact the 500x19 tyre with the smaller size engraved on the tyre mould sidewall. So in conclusion, if it is a 5.00x19 tyre you are after, Blockley make a 5.00x19 tyre available which is listed on the Blockley website.
The low price of this high quality tyre is only due to our selling direct to the end user and garages etc, and not using the services of the Classic Tyre Wholesalers, which avoids a layer of "middle man" commissions.
All Blockley Cross (Bias) ply tyres are made to fit the original rim widths, something other manufacturers seem to have forgotten about over time. In addition they are genuine tyres for road use, with a robust sidewall and covering, capable of being 'curbed' as you would expect from a tyre suitable for road use. The Dunlop triple stud pattern in period was a problematic one, which resulted in it being superseded. We liked the period look of the triple stud tyre, so we re-designed all features of this pattern to make it work correctly without wearing out in no time. The compounding of all our cross (Bias) ply tyres conform to FIA Appendix K which uses Dunlop 204 compound as its reference hardness, for those that wish to compete with these genuine road legal tyres. This same Blockley tyre, surprisingly, has no equal having won many thousands of races and other competitions as well as Concours d'Elegance events, including class wins and overall best of show at Pebble Beach!
This is why we coined the term Road Race for tyres when we started, so you could drive somewhere on genuine road tyres, do any competing, and drive back home. Our tyres with our designs have been been copied (as have many of our tyres) by the classic tyre wholesalers who we do not sell through. So please beware of Blockley imitations!
All Blockley tyres are made with new moulds and tooling and a high level of quality control, resulting in a product of unsurpassed quality, roundness and conformity.
