550/600 x 19
550x19,600x19
6.00 x 19 Blockley tyre with period correct triple stud tread pattern and sidewall, which will transform the handling of the cars they are fitted to, with this well designed no compromise product. This tyre looks as this size did in period, with the relatively slim overall look this size had, which is dual marked on the sidewall 550/600x19. It is surprising how fitting these tyres will also vastly improve the look of any car they are fitted to. So good that our competitors in the tyre trade have tried to copy them!

A superb 600x19 six ply rated tyre, perfect for many cars such as Invicta, Lagonda, Talbot, Alvis and some 8C Alfa Romeo's. This 6.00x19 tyre size was also the original fitment for the 20/25 and 25/30 Rolls Royce although many people today fit the larger 650 x 19 size.
If you are having new wheels made, please do not get carried away with "too wide" wheel rims - silly width wheel rims look strange and are just not necessary with the Blockley tyres, so stick with what was original! Wider wheel rims also detract from the look of the car with inset spokes and so on. So many of the sportier cars, previously fitted with non road legal Dunlop 600x19's had wheels made to their specifications which are far too wide and detract the look of the cars as well as often needing to offset the wheels - so all this can now be rectified and put back correct with Blockley tyres. You can now use these 550/600x19 Blockley tyres on the original wheel widths as specified by the manufacturer of the cars when they were new.
The Blockley Cross (Bias) ply tyres are made to fit the original rim widths which were narrower in period, something other manufacturers have forgotten about over time. In addition our Blockley tyres are genuine tyres for road use, with a robust sidewall and covering, capable of being 'curbed' as you would expect from a tyre made suitable for road use. The Dunlop triple stud pattern in period was a problematic one, which resulted in it being superseded. We liked the period look of the triple stud tyre, so we re-designed all features of this pattern to make it work correctly, without it wearing out in no time. The compounding of all our cross (Bias) ply tyres conform to FIA Appendix K which uses Dunlop 204 compound as its reference hardness. This same Blockley tyre, surprisingly, has no equal having won thousands of races and other competitions as well as Concours d'Elegance events, including class wins and overall best of show at Pebble Beach!
This is why we coined the term Road/Race for tyres when we started. Which has been copied (as have many of our tyres) by the classic tyre wholesalers who we do not sell through. So beware of imitations!
All Blockley tyres are made with new moulds and tooling, researched correctly, resulting in a product of unsurpassed quality, roundness and conformity and offering superb road holding . You cannot buy a better 600x19 tyre, and our reasonable list price is only because we sell direct to the end user / workshops, rather than use the services of the Classic tyre wholesalers in between.
